Deacon Ministry by Rev Dr Koloma Makewin

This iniative came about by Chairman of the Gerehu United Church, Mr Pepena Amona who saw the need for this seminar to be conducted in the church to fully understand and appreciate this important role. The seminar was run by Rev Dr Koloma Makewin for the Gerehu congregation.The seminar explains the meaning and the how the Deacon functions in the church today especially in the United Church. His presentation ran for three nights that started on the 24th to the 26th of September 2026. The powerful three nights was an eye opener for many who attended. Rev Dr Makewin is currently the Chaplain at the University of Papua New Guinea.
