The Gaire Accord

The Gaire Accord was drawn up in the wake of the Supreme Court Decision handed down in 2010 nullifying some sections on the Organic Law on Integrity of Poltical Parties and Candidates. The four day conference that was staged at March Girls Resort, Central Province drew many International experts from Australia, PNG, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands including UNWomen, PIF Secretariat and the Pacific Commonwealth Secretariat.The Accord will lead to the Kokopo Conference where the Kokopo Communiqué will be drawn up.
